Another powerful cleansing plant in every sense is St. John's wort. People also call it bloody, bloody, red grass, valiant blood. In ancient Rus', this plant was used by the wise men. According to legends, St. John's wort protects against damage and the evil eye. It is believed that if you carry this plant with you all the time, you will not be afraid of the effects of evil spirits.

St. John's wort (lat. Hypericum perforatum) is a perennial plant with erect stems 40 cm to 1 m high. It grows in meadows, steppes, forest edges and clearings, near roads, as well as in the mountains among shrubs.

St. John's wort is considered one of the most powerful anti-demonic herbs. It is often used by witches in Ukraine. This plant is also considered hostile to evil sorcerers who harm people with the help of evil spirits. This plant is also used as a means of protection against damage and the evil eye. St. John's wort is widely used in folk medicine and is considered the “herb for 99 diseases.”

St. John's wort

To use herbs and plants for magical purposes, the time of collection of the plant itself is important. Let me remind you that St. John's wort, which grows in Places of Power, is of great value.

The moment of collecting St. John's wort is considered no less important. The plant collected on Trinity, Ivan Kupala (July 6 to 7), Lita (summer solstice July 20-23), as well as for all pagan or Christian holidays has maximum power.

Note: It is believed that if you collect St. John's wort on the night of Ivan Kupala, and the next morning weave a wreath from it and jump over the fire in it, then this wreath will acquire magical powers. It must be protected as a means of protection from damage and the evil eye.
